Sun and Rehabs

Amy woke me up
The day is out
And the sun alike
My heart is singing
Sad melancholic songs
From other lands
And I smile ironically
At love and what it makes of me
Amy woke me up
It was a year ago or so
I cried out flooding
Round with my stillness
And I smiled at the irony of
Mornings and sleepless nights
Those that leave you restless
Amy woke me up
And I walked down the pathways
Cutting myself into the frivolous elfin
I was sleeping to become
I move around and the day
Plays by and half of my heart still
Sinks away in the north
Yet its twin half is floating
Me up here
Amy woke me up and
I live and love
I said the words
